Open Obedience

Instructor: Melinda Wichmann
Thursdays
October 21st - December 16th (7 weeks)7:00 p.m. at Sue Ann's in North Liberty.

Beginning/Continuing Novice Obedience

Instructor: Mary Lowder
This class meets twice a week at Sue Ann's in North Liberty: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 1 p.m.: November 17th, 20th, 27th, December 1st, 4th, 8th and 18th.

Advanced Novice Obedience

Instructor: Kate Cowles
This class will meet for 4 sessions, December 15th, 29th, January 5th and 12th at 6:30 p.m. at Sue Ann's in North Liberty. NO CLASSES Saturday, December 11th. Class cost is $32.50 for non-members or members without credits. $20 for members with 2-1/2 hour credits. This will be geared for handlers who haven't done Open or Utility (and their advanced Novice dogs). Topics will include: games to play at home to start getting the dog ready for Open and Utility exercises; proofing and polishing novice exercises; introducing some of the Open exercises in a fun and positive way.

Rally Obedience

Beginning January 9th, 2005 through February 13th at 9 a.m. at Sue Ann's in North Liberty.

Agility classes

No Agility Classes Offered Until January 2005. Check Back Often for Updates. . .


Spring/summer agility classes are still being held at the summer training facility at 1858 Curtis Bridge Road, North Liberty, IA (Sue Ann's). Each class will go for 7 consecutive weeks, barring bad weather or national disasters. The facility is outdoors on grass in a large fenced area. Each member may take one class per year for $40. After than, classes cost $40 with 5 working credits, or $65. Nonmembers pay $65 per 7-week class. Contact the instructor directly if you have questions about your dog's readiness for a class. Register for the class by sending the instructor a check (made out to ICDOC) for the appropriate amount. Classes are filled by those who pay first.
